This set includes signed letters and notes from various U.S. Senators and Representatives, addressed to Val J. Halamandaris, President of the National Association for Home Care. The correspondence, dating from the 1980s to early 2000s, includes expressions of gratitude, discussions on health care legislation, responses to received gifts, and reflections on home care issues. Signers include Senators Paul Coverdell, Alan Cranston, Dennis DeConcini, Tom Daschle, and Representatives Buddy Darden and Robert Davis. Many letters are on official congressional letterhead and some include policy enclosures or handwritten messages.
